Welcome to the website of Brooker Baptist Church. Thanks for stopping by. Don't try finding Brooker on the map. Brooker is not a place. The church was named for William Brooker, who first invited the circuit riding preacher to hold services in the community and opened his home for the first service in the early 1860's. For over 140 years, Brooker Baptist Church as been serving God in the Cottam area. We are an evangelical church that believes and preaches that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to be forgiven of sin and receive eternal life. Our worship services contain a mixture of contemporary music and traditional hymns, as well as gospel songs. We recognize the power of prayer and take time to share prayer requests during our worship service. We are a small church so if you visit, you can be sure of a warm welcome and you won't be a stranger for long. We invite you to come and join us!
