Abode offers daytime Respite house services for young adults, 18+, living with a disability. They aim for quality care above all else. To ensure quality care, they like to keep their daily participant numbers low. They have a limited number of spots available daily Monday to Friday. A daytime spot includes 6 hours of Respite from 9 AM to 3 PM and the program activities happening during that time.
Evening Service: Abode Respite offers weekly Tuesday evening services from 3 PM to 7 PM for a fee, where participants will enjoy a themed night of activities, games and food. Abode thoughtfully prepares a monthly calendar filled with a variety of meaningful activities. When you reserve a spot, you are agreeing to participation in any activities planned by Abode that month coexisting with your reserved spot. Services include daily activities, community involvement, socialization, personal care and skill development in a loving and safe family environment. When a participant chooses their days to reserve they will remain the same every week. Any change to your spot reservation must be made with a two week notice and are not guaranteed.
Community Classes: Abode will be hosting classes open to the community throughout the week. These programs are designed for adults living with an intellectual disability. If you are interested in signing-up for our community classes please email Heather McCann to reserve a spot today. Theses classes have a limited number of spots available to align with Abode's standards of care. These community classes will cover a variety of opportunities to adults , 18+, of all abilities including cooking programs, fitness classes, art lessons, and music sessions. Abode will provide all supplies needed for each community class.
Each community member, that is not an Abode member, needing assistance will be required to attend with a respite caregiver to assist them in this community class .
Visit the Abode Respite Website for further information on the services provided.
